How Content Removal Works

1. Retrieve the SHA-256 hash from the photo details or Lightbox information panel.

2. Open the uploader’s profile on Primal, Coracle, or your Nostr client with our pre-composed note.

3. The uploader signs a Kind 24242 deletion event to permanently purge the file from Blossom.

Only the uploader can cryptographically delete the media blob from their Blossom server. Contact them directly through any of these Nostr avenues:

Pre-Composed Removal Message for Uploader

Hello,

I am reaching out regarding an event photo uploaded via your Nostr key / Blossom media server on Phoem (photo.emre.xyz):

• Reason: I appear in this photo and do not consent to its public display (Likeness & Privacy Rights).

Under the Phoem platform policy and personal privacy / likeness rights, I kindly request that you remove this image from your Blossom server (using a signed Kind 24242 delete authorization) and retract its reference from the album event.

What if the Uploader Does Not Respond?

If the photographer does not respond within a reasonable timeframe, you can proceed with these escalations:

1. Blossom Server Abuse Notice: Contact the Blossom media host hosting the photo (often abuse@ or via their website) specifying the SHA-256 hash to request server-level blob deletion.

2. Phoem Client Blocklist: Contact us at [email protected] or our NIP-05 address with the photo hash to filter the media from the Phoem web client.
